The Tree House

Last year we tracked down an epic site in Huntsbury with space for two builds... but smack bang in the middle of one-half was a MASSIVE protected gum tree. This didn't put us off- we took on the challenge and worked with COMMON  to design a home around it...  and we're in love with the results. Naturally, we’re calling it ‘The Tree House’. 

We pushed the envelope to achieve great views (hello afternoon sunsets), great site access (so important on the hill) and some cool features - like ply ceilings on the lower level. Now to figure out if we can wrangle a pool onto the section for our lovely clients! The difference between a problem or an opportunity on the hill? it's a matter of vision and perspective.

This build is currently under construction and is due for completion early in 2022.
